Waking up to machines beeping and IV’s in my veins was not how I pictured last night ending. What was supposed to be a beautiful night ending in me finally growing up, turned out to be a bloodbath. There was not one time that I thought that Raven could have had a nigga. Especially a crazy ass nigga like Kilo. People thought that just because I was a singer that I wasn’t a savage. When I get out this hospital, I was gone show the world just how much of a savage I could be.

The door to my room opened and in walked my old man. “Now, I would have expected this from Peso but not you.” He chuckled as he walked to the foot of my bed. “How you feeling son?’

“Like shit,” I answered truthfully. “I can’t believe I didn’t see this shit. I feel like a fucking female when they find out a nigga been cheating,” I expressed, shaking my head.

“You look like a female too,” My old man jokes but I gave him a blank stare because I ain’t find the shit funny. “Sorry son but I’m just shocked at how you got here. You’re the one always saying how you can’t be in a relationship but here you are caught up in one. How did you even get here?” he quizzed.

“I fell, Pops,” I simply responded, shaking my head. “I had finally found a woman that I could wake up to every morning and not try and put her out. She was cool and laidback with a lot of personality and spice. She didn’t see me as just some dick or a famous singer. We kicked on a whole ‘nother level. Like some best friend type shit and we built a bond from a dumb ass gimmick. I fucked up when I mixed business with pleasure,” I admitted.

“I was only supposed to pretend like we were together, but shit got real between us. I found myself wanting to be around her even when the cameras weren’t rolling, and the paparazzi wasn’t snapping pics. I found myself caring about her when I didn’t have to. Then I found myself in her damn bed, and that’s when shit went left.”

My old man just stood there, listening to me vent. I swear I hated sounding like a female, but a nigga was in his feelings. “Like I just got shot trying to protect my pretend girlfriend from her real nigga. Shit crazy,” I added.

“Yea bro you a whole side nigga,” I heard Peso say out of nowhere. He walked in without me knowing and now he was standing by our old man. “This some sad shit here. You look like a straight pussy. How you let a bitch get you shot?”

“Peso shut the fuck up. I ain’t in the mood for the shits so either be here to make sure I’m good or get the fuck out!” I snapped.

“Damn bro what pain pills they got you on that got you poppin’ off like this?” he quizzed, laughing.
